    Will it be enough

Will just a UTH on the bottom of my tub be enough to heat up the air in my tub to warm enough with the hot spot at about 90?

UTH's do not greatly affect the air temperature in the tub. they heat the floor of the tub very well, providing what we call belly heat. If the floor of the tub is 90 degrees (regulated by a thermostat) then the air temperature in the tub only needs to be 80 degrees. If your room is really cold you might need an additional heat source to keep the proper air temperatures.

Alright I'll be using an indoor/outdoor thermometer in the tub the outdoor prove will go right above the UTH under the substrate and the thermometer will measure the air on the cool side of the tub will this be enough to check the temperature for the whole tub?

That's all I use in my 4 foot by 2 foot cages (Along with my Herpstat to regulate the UTH) so it should definitely be fine for a tub
