Direction/Opinions Needed. Just beginning.
Just beginning to get into ball pythons and am not sure which of these three options would be best.
Start with...
2011 Male Mojave
or
Pair of 2011 100% Het Albinos
or
2011 1.0 Orange Ghost male / 2011 0.1 50% het Orange Ghost female
Which of these three options makes the most sense to start off with? Not sure what the future is looking for Orange ghosts, mojaves etc. Maybe you have a whole different idea as to how to start off. I have about $200 I set aside for this at the moment and if I decide this is something I want to get into more, I will redirect other herp projects. Thanks in advance.

The only one of those options that I would even consider starting out is the 100% het Albino pair. Expecially if you do decide you want to breed in the future.
Personally I would recommend getting the females that you like first. They take longer to reach breeding age and size, roughly 2-3 years. And males can be ready to breed in 6-12 months.
PS- Welcome to BP.net!

x2 I would get 2 females now and get a male later on.

Grab some females. Find morphs that you like. I'm a really big fan hypos, so the OG's sound good to me. Again it's all personal preference, get what you are into.

I'm just starting as well and originally wanted to get a male and female, and now that people are telling me to get females first I think it sounds like a great idea. I purchased a Spider het Albino and am planning on purchasing a normal het albino too, but im not 100% sure. So I'd suggest you also go with 1 or 2 females first to get them to 1500 grams and then look into getting a male because they are able to breed much earlier.

For breeding, I say the best choice out of the 3 is the male orange ghost and female het ghost pair. Even though the het ghost is visually a normal, she is still worth something just because she is female and will gain value as she reaches breeding weight. A visual male ghost is good to breed to morph het ghosts. Maybe pick up a 100% het girl too. They're really cheap these days.
I wouldn't go for the het albino pair just because the male is just a normal het. Male hets get obsolete fast the moment you get a visual baby to take his place. And het to het breeding is tricky because you wouldn't know if a normal looking baby is a het or not. The het male and possible het babies might be difficult to sell in the future. If you want albinos, I suggest getting a visual male and het female.
And if you really want a mojave, get a female. Like others have said, it takes longer to grow up a female to maturity than a male.

I agree with this. Id go for the ghost pair. And then if you like mojaves get a female mojave het ghost.

I like the ghost pair as well.

0.1 Abyssinian Guinea Pig (Moo Moo) RIP

I have to disagree with you about the Ghost pair. Now yes the male is a visual and any baby will be 100% het from breeding him. But the female is only 50% het so she is pretty much a coin flip. When 100% het Ghost female hatchlings are only about $100 it doesn't make any sense to take a chance on a 50% possible het.
If the OP was considering a 1.0 Orange Ghost and a 0.1 100% Orange Ghost I would recommend that over the 100% het Albino pair.
