The older you get, the faster it goes, huh? Remember how long a year used to be? It took forever for your birthday to roll around and when it did you felt like you accomplished something. Now it just feels like one year closer to death. 
Appreciate it while you can because before you know it you will be "snakegrandma77" and your grandchild will be turning 10 today.

I am 35 years young. The only thing that reminds me I am old is my creaky knees. The years do seem to go by faster though. Work will do that to you.

Being a parent is definitely bittersweet. I absolutely loved being home with my boys when they were young - at that time it seemed like they would always be my babies.
Fast forward to today - my oldest is 28 and my baby is 21 - sometimes it actually depresses me when I realize that my job is done and they are on their own. They don't really need me any more - unless of course they need money lol.
