IS this a normal eating habit or is my Rosy just weird?

My little baby Rosy ate in her tank for the first time tonight, the other times she ate in a small box. So I got to watch her eat. I gave a ASF pink, live. she did the normal strike and coil. And than after a second or two, pinkie still kicking, she started eating it. I think it was still moving when she swallowed the last bit I have never seen one of my snakes eat its food live. And it hardly took any time for her to get it down. she doesn't look like she could eat anything larger. The pink left a semi noticeable lump. A pinkie isn't a bit deal, but if she tries to do that when she is older with a bigger rodent I'm worried the rodent might hurt her. Any thoughts?

Perfectly normal for young snakes to swallow their prey live. I've seen balls do it a couple times, and have seen various colubrids do it a lot.

She'll fully constrict as the prey items get bigger...if it's anything of concern for you, or that unpleasant to see, I'm pretty sure rosies are easy to get on f/t.

when i had my collection of corn snakes they would do that all the time, nothing worse than seeing the darn food squirming, (legs kicking) while it travels down to the belly. but my corns literally ate me out of those projects. they were some HOGS!
