    Light Cycle

I may be moving my snake rack to a walk in closet, but it has no windows. What should I do for a light cycle? Thanks.

A simple house lamp on a timer set on top of the rack would work If you want to do a light cycle.

Is there a light in the closest? You could also plug a lamp into a timer and set the lamp in the closet.

Light cycles aren't 100% necessary so if you can't work something out it then I wouldn't worry too much.

    Re: Light Cycle

If there is no light cycle would it make them more jumpy or any other side effect when I do come in and check on them. There is a switched overhead light, but I would most likely try to find a simple low electricity light to put on a timer I guess.

No side effects that I am aware of. in the wild they spend their days underground so they would be in the dark anyway.
