I been breeding my normal female to my male mojo since Nov i seen 4 good locks.Late meal was on 3/21

This is her on the 3/29

and today i checked on her and she is in shed. I did not see any ovulation, she might have and i just missed it.

Bowl wrapping and hanging on the cool side is a good sign...just keep pairing up until you have no doubt...

My spider girl did the same thing. She gained over 700g in a month and a half. Full wrap around her bowl and stopped eating. Took a much smaller prey item for me yesterday. What yours may have done was a pre ovulation shed. My girl wants nothing to do with any males and has mood swings. Try offering food that is smaller than she eats and watch for "lumping". She will shed again before she lays her clutch. Then you are only about 27 days away from having eggs. Good luck!

    Re: whats going on?

If she ate 3/21 then she is most likely not gravid or even close to ovulation.

    Re: whats going on?

Best way to check is to see if you can get her to lock after she sheds. Is shes still locking, you can almost be 100% sure she hasnt ovy'ed yet.

It's hard to say without knowing what she has been doing for the past couple months behavior wise, but I think she looks promising. My opinion is, and will always be, plan on it being the pre-lay shed if you don't know for sure. Better to be prepared early than too late!
