Zoo sets up special phone line for Ms. Anna Conda!

Como Zoo, a donation supported zoo in St. Paul, MN, apparently gets a lot of prank April Fool's Day calls, so they've set up four special phone numbers that you can either call directly or will get transferred to from the main line... Each number will contain a pitch for an animal sponsorship donation, but I was so happy to see that Ms. Conda was given her own line in addition to the expected Mr. Lion, Mr. Fox, and Mr. Wolf. Hurray for some reptile love!

Very cute! I should have my 2 year-old nephew call, since he ALWAYS asks about my snakes. I was just talking to him on the phone last night, and after asking "where's doggie?" his next question was "and the 'nakes (snakes)?" I told him they were all sleeping, just like he should be soon - LOL.

I was discussing this with a friend the other night. Seems pretty clever on the zoos part.

But I never get bored of getting people to call them and ask for a Mr C. Lion. Or my other fave is getting "victims" to call a bird sanctuary and ask for an Albert Ross.

*sigh* I need to get out more
