43" BP...how big a tub would be appropriate?..

He currently has a nice little low lying tree he hangs on in his glass cage ..Is length more important than height?..

For ball pythons, surface area of the bottom of the tub is much more important than height. Balls are not naturally arboreal snakes. They will generally spend all their time in their hides. All of my ball pythons are kept in rack systems, so they only get 6.5 inches of height. Adults are kept in 41qt sterilite tubs. The dimensions of a 41qt are 34 7/8" L x 16 5/8" W x 6 1/8" H.

You can get away with a 32 qt with males, but giant females you'll definitely want the 41 qt.
