Found a 5 Tier shelf for rack, Suggestions/help needed.

So I found a 5 tier shelf, that will just fit a 40qt tub. Although I have one problem that you guys may be able to offer suggestions on.

So I got 1/4inch hard board cut to the size i needed to Apply to the shelfs.. But the bottom of these shelfs have very little area to try and attach the hard board too..

    Suggestions..

the first picture is of the top of one of the shelfs, which has lots of area to stick down the hardboard.

its kind of hard to tell from the picture, but the second piture which is the bottoms of the shelving unit i found. the only real places that have any surface area to attach the hardboard are the middle..

Any suggestions on what I may be able to do?

    thanks

Are you wanting to cover both sides or just one?

either way I would drill 4 holes and and use machine screws and nuts to hold the boards onto the shelf.

Umm i never really thought about it, but i assumed both sided being covered would be best, as there are fairly large holes, but I guess if the top is secure enough and there arnt any holes it should be fine....

Ive been sick, and not thinking clearly lately.. just needed a simple question like that to help..

    thanks
