Breathing

So my ball python is breathing about every four seconds. He expels air and gets thinner then takes a huge breath in and gets a lot larger. Is that normal? For them to take such deep breaths? Just want to make sure he's ok

Yes it's very normal. It's called resperation and will take place for the life of the snake

Is he a baby? Or new? They tend to breath harded when stressed.
