Hey everybody! My name's Danny i'm a long time lurker, first time poster. I've been herping now for over ten years, started with corn snakes, and moved through geckos, skinks, and frogs before i went back to snakes. despite my experience, i still seem to learn something new everyday when it comes to the care of captive reptiles.
While my girlfriend keeps us well stocked up with ball pythons, I generally lean towards collecting different species of snakes. I'm a masters student in aquatic ecology, so i just explain that it's the ecologist in me. As i write this i am anxiously awaiting a delivery of a Borneo Super Stripe from VPI and i'm stupid excited.
I'll post a few pics, This is the baby Woma i got a few weeks ago in Hamburg, and my Schneider's Skink who had a double amputation 5 years ago (you can see his front right leg is nubby). Long story, but he is now very happy and healthy, just a little slower!
