    Substrate shipping

    http://www.nationalpetpharmacy.com/P...c-Foot-Bedding

So I love aspen sani-chips and I usually buy it from the NPP website. However, I noticed today that the shipping prices seemed to be higher than normal. It's over $15 per bag to ship. I know they're big bags, but last time I bought, the shipping was almost nothing.

Anyone know somewhere else that sells this where the shipping might not be so high? (I know I'm picky and cheap, heh. I do what I can)

    Thanks.

Spoke too soon!!! Amazon has the exact same product for cheaper right now. Two bags for $33 instead of two bags for $47. And that includes shipping.

Don't mind me, just asking questions I can answer myself!

Ive been considering switching from newspaper since its not all too pleasing to look at, even though theyre in tubs lol. Also a link to the product on amazon would grant you a virtual high five from me lol

    Here it is!!!

And I love it. It looks great and the snakes don't seem to have any objections to it. It's soft, odor-free, resin-free, chemical-free. The bags are huge and ship quickly, but not too heavy. They pack them so tightly. My last 2 bags lasted me over 5 months (though I only have three snakes).

Ok sweet, im gunna get them next paycheck. I only have 3 snakes too right now, soon to be 4, so it should last me for awhile. Even if i have to buy it like 3 times a year, an extra $100 for the look of it seems worth it to me lol

Wait a minute it says that the price on sale is $6.79 for a 2.2cu foot bag?
    then shipping would be $12.47
Is that the size bag you bought or is there a bigger size? Or did it just go on sale the day after you bought it lol?

EDIT: nevermind i figured it out lol

Ha, sorry for the confusion. Yes, it comes in 2.2cu ft bags. Total cost was $14, shipping was $19 which isn't bad for a total of 40 lbs. I would recommend buying at least two bags at a time since it's actually cheaper that way.
