Piebald - Discoloring on underside of jaw?
Hey All - No pics yet, but I just wanted to throw this out to the community for some input. Will get some pics when I get home from work in the morning.
I have a September 2011 Piebald hatchling that is 450 grams that went off food mid February. Husbandry is good and there have been no environmental changes so nothing to be alarmed about I know and she is typically a good eater, but I had her out today checking her weight and I noticed that the underside of her jaw is pretty dark, almost looks discolored. I don't remember the underside of her law to be a darker colour and when I google or search the site for any sort of discoloring around the mouth area "mouth rot" pops up.
I know we cannot begin to daignose anything without pictures, was just hoping that you would be able to privide some input as to what it could be, what to check for or any pied owners to comment if this is normal. I will try and get some pics up tomorrow afternoon.
Thanks.

I did take some pics, but I don't have them on me now. I will hunt down your post and comment there, my Pied was normal and nothing to be concerned about.

Spider's will get it on their tail and under their chin too..

I've heard this also, my Spinner has a small faint grey mark under his chin. I call it his 'birth mark'.
