    what are some good thermomiters for a snake rack?

    I have a thermomiter that is way off from my herpstat.. Im thinking about getting a new one any suggestions?

    I got three of THIS KIND. I like them but haven't had a chance to salt test them to see how far off they are. They seem to be pretty good though.

    I have ones similar to that from Wal-Mart. $12 a pop.

    Where do you have the probe for your Herpstat located? If it's on your heat tape(or between your UTH and aquarium) and your thermometer probe is in your tub(or aquarium) they should be reading different temps.
    In my racks I have to have my Herpstat set at 97 degrees to give me the 90 degree hot spot I need in the tubs.

    I have the Bios Weather thermometers from Walmart, they are $7.97 here. They read room temp as well as the probe temp, and also display humidity and the time. They have Max/Min settings as well.

    I'll try and find a link.

    You found these ones at Walmart? I ask because went there today looking for one but its a smaller Walmart not a supercenter one I hate it ill go to the good Walmart tommorrow what section are these in ?

    Yep, Walmart in Canada though, not sure of the US ones have the same model. I found them at the back near the extension cords and such
