Does your BP do weird if not cute things like this?

So usually when I change the paper towels after a pee or poo I put Dannie in one of the storage totes I use for my reptiles, but without the lid (unless I leave the room; the tote is right next to me as I change the towels) and I put one of the hides in with him. I've noticed a lot lately that when I take him out and put him in the spare tote that he will crawl half way into the hide and leave his other half sticking out, then poke his head out and watch me. It's just too cute! Then I go to lift his hide to put him back in while I wash his hide, and he pulls his head in (probably out of reflex/defense). Sometimes I just wait a few seconds to purposely see if he will poke his head back out, which he usually does. He thinks he's a sneaky devil

That is so funny you mentioned this. That is exactly what mine has started to do every time I put him back in the tub he gets half his body into his hide and then sticks his head out and stares at me while he moves the rest of his tail in.. and then he watches me until I leave the room.

As soon as I slide the top bin out of my rack to feed, my normal who is in the middle comes out of hiding and levitates half of her body towards the front of the tub. Then when it's her turn, there is no zombie dance needed. She's hit the rat like half way from the bag to the tub. Then coiled it half in and half out of the bin. I've learned to already have the rat on the tongs BEFORE I open the bin. It gives me a chance to get the rat over the bin before she strikes. I wish all balls ate like her.
