Re: RE-Hope to see eggs soon!!!!!
Yes, This is my first clutch. I just got back into breeding the past few years. I did it on a much smaller level years ago and getting back into it. I hope I'm correct by saying 2 days that will be about 14 from post ovy shed.. Hope so. Although I have heard before it can be a little more than that. But the wait is killing me. Ahhhh. LOL....

Sorry to burst your bubble but I believe it is 28-45 days after post-ovy shed!

Oh no, Thought it was sooner than that. I did some research and thought 14 or so was the norm. oh well looks like I will be waiting a bit more....

My albino female shed on February 24th, so we're still waiting on her clutch. Today is day 22. I hope she lays soon!
Last year, we had 2 females go 86 days from ovy to laying (can't remember how long between post-ovy shed and eggs). MAN that was an awfully long wait. I was getting so worried!

Generally once your female has her ovulation it's about 14 to 16 days till her prelay shed, then 27 to 28 days after that you get eggs. But they don't always play by the rules. I had two females last year that didn't have a prelay shed, so around 42 to 45 days after ovy is a good timeline for eggs. IMO

Yeah exactly, they definitely don't play by the rules!
I also had a corn snake last year who laid her eggs while she was in deep blue! I don't think she could even see when she was laying, and with them it's usually 10 days after the shed that they lay.

Has she shed since you think you saw her ovulate? Starting the count down from the post ov shed is a better date since you can't second guess a shed. They lay anywhere between 30 and 50 days after their post ov shed.
