    Pink Belly After Shed?

My Boa recently shed, and it wasn't a good one, came off in multiple pieces, some shed still stuck on because I didn't know he was in shed (I've only had him a short time, and he was probably already starting the process right when I got him)..

Anyway, most of his belly is still pink where the shed has come off, is that normal?

Except for the very end of his tail which is a darker color, is that because of shed still on the end?

Zoom on the picture, it almost looks like something bad. maybe i'm not sure.

I would try soaking him to get the stuck shed off. Then let him slither through a wet towel. Then let's see what he looks like.

    Re: Pink Belly After Shed?

I soaked him and all the tail shed came off, there might be some shed stuck on top of his head, little shiny scales here and there, maybe that's just his color though... anyway his belly was a much darker pink color afterwords, but the skin looks very healthy. I couldn't get a picture of it because he was so agitated after soaking and wouldn't hold still.
