    Bp pooping

So ive seen a few people asking about there bps not pooping very often but my Bp usually always poops around 3 days or so after he eats

He eats 15% of his body weight and the poops are usually small and accompanied with urine

    That sounds normal to me...

Some just "go" more frequently than others, some less often.

    How big is your snake?
My snakes have pretty big poo. They surprise me every time, but they don't poop weekly. Mine tend to poo every other or every couple weeks. I feed every 5-7days.

^ my smaller BPs tend to poop more frequently than my big adults who go every blue moon, but that's just my experience with mine own BPs/snakes. I do the 10-15% rule also and feed the smaller ones every 5 days.

Yep, it really seems to vary with individual snakes. My year-old BP usually goes without a major pooping for 10-21 days at a time and then lets out a HUGE one messing up his whole cage.

    Re: Bp pooping

Every bp poos different. I don't think its something to worry to much about. They are not like corns that crap a butt load 3 days after eating.

Mine USUALLY poos a few days after eating, unless she is about to go into shed, in which case, she will hold it in for shock value after she sheds. I actually just threw away her humid hide after her last shed and replaced it (I used tupperware from the dollar tree) it just wasn't worth saving after what she did to it....

As was mentioned, the young ones tend to poop more often. As they get older they learn to hold it until right after you've cleaned the tub...

Are you sure it's poo and not solid urate, since it's occurring with urine? I feed my little ones every five days, and they definitely don't poo between every meal.
