    health issues

    Hello,

My BP has a respiratory infection. She makes popping sounds and has thick saliva. I took her to the vet and they said i should give her antibiotic. I have been giving my BP the antibiotic, twice a day, for over 2 weeks now, with little effect. The saliva is not so thick anymore but she still makes the popping sounds.
I removed the substract (aspen) and replaced it with paper towels. I raised the temperature to 32.5 ºC 24h/day. She has clean water and 2 hides.
My BP is about 6 month old. I have her since last December and she was always a good eater. But she has stoped eating since 10 February.
I took her to the vet again yesterday and they prescribed a desinfectant for the mouth and said i should continue giving her the antibiotic.
She lost 20 grams in 2 weeks.

Is there anything else i can do? I'm a little desperate.

What are you keeping the snake in and what are the temperatures on the cool end and the warm end and do you have belly heat?
    What is the humidity level?
Have you addressed the issues with the set up that caused the RI?

Helps to raise the humidity or let her soak in water once a day or so to keep her hydrated.

I keep her in a 60x30x40 cm glass terrarium. The cold side is about 25ºC and the hot side is 32,5ºC. I only use belly heat. The humidity is about 50%.

I'm not sure what issues with the setup could have coused the RI.
