    Post shed pics!

She shed last night, so time for pics! Every time she sheds, her head turns more chocolate colored. The rest of her brown is very dark, but her head is just the most beautiful chocolate color, and more so every shed!! I just snapped a few pics of her before I started defrosting her post-shed rat and she went crazy.

    She's growing! Little over 300gm

Thanks for looking! I know she is "just" a normal, but she's my normal and I love her dearly! She is from BHB, and in September, I am going to a reptile expo in Sacramento (anyone going to be there?) to adopt a morph! No idea what yet, have to see what my budget can be when the time rolls around! Cheers!

I know!! I checked on her this afternoon and saw that she had finally shed and I pulled her out and was ASTOUNDED at how YELLOW her lighter parts were! She was practically glowing! I just had to take some pics before I fed her, and she was kind of annoyed it seemed. haha. She is always ravenous after a shed and she hit her rat within milliseconds of me dangling it in front of her hide. I love this girl, I can never get over her feeding response. No hesitation, just pounds food the second it's offered. Really hope she never outgrows that, it's lovely.

I just upload to Photobucket and copy and paste the image code. There are other ways, but that is the simplest for me.

She's really clean and pretty! To me a really good Normal is just as hot as a morph!

I agree completely! To me, the cost of a morph merely reflects its rarity and the complexity of the genetic cocktail to create it. But I don't really think a snake is less beautiful just because it is more common. I wanted my first BP to be a normal because I think they are a stunningly beautiful animal in their natural state. Yes, there are PLENTY of insanely beautiful morphs out there, but any morph I get in the future will never be MORE beautiful than my little normal, just AS beautiful.
