Only ever had a all gold female that passed 5 months ago. Never did she pass on her genes.
Then today i clean the rats and wean some and find this lil guy out of nowhere. 90% of my stock is siameses

Are you going to breed him or feed him off?

Will he molt or will he look like that forever?
I've had 2 rats that looked exactly like that and both molted into siamese.

He wont molt into siamese as the fur is gold. Ive had others like this but not gold that molted to siamese.
Only time will tell but my guess is no

Wow, very cool looking rat. It's funny what pops up in the bins every now and then.

It makes sense since you have siamese, that every once in a while you would something like that. It'a a recessive gene, and it can hide for a long time before popping out.

To bad there's no way to ship live feeders because I'd totally take that guy.
