Both snakes are much better but Ozzy the 'Bee, who had it much worse still has some thin slime in his mouth and "yawns" occasionally when he gets stressed out.
[which is just about always..he's a very high strung, not especially people oriented snake]

He no longer has bubbles, drooling or snotty nose but does rub his face on the tub when he's freaking out about whatever.

Tonight was shot night and he's now sleeping with his head straight up.
[not his neck, just his head]
Other than that, he seems comfortable.

Norma has had 9 shots and Ozzy has had 8, so far.
Norma sleeps normally now, head flat and no more slime that I can see.
She has eaten for me once since this began and she's really not much of an eater.

Norma is doing so well that I think 2 or 3 more shots 'just to be sure' will be enough but Ozzy is a problem.

His Spider genes make him 10 times worse to inject than Norma and it takes him 10 times longer to 'get over the horror' of being injected.

I went overboard with QTing them and had them on the other side of the house but had to use people heating pads since all my heat cord and thermostats are in the snake area.

This means I've been checking temps every couple hours for weeks and frankly, I'm about done in from sleep deprivation.
[the crazy weather has rendered the normally stable LR temps totally unstable, therefore my need to function as a human thermostat]

I just put Ozzy and his QT tub inside of his 40 gallon tank w/Lucy lid to give him more stable temps, just in case that was interfering with his recovery.
[and to hopefully find out what a full night's sleep feels like, again]

So, my question is, how/when do I know they're "recovered"?

I still have plenty of Baytril left but am unsure of how long they can gets shots and not have it damage them.

[and my hands are killing me....that sanitizer goop has just about skinned them raw]
