Humidity is too high in my tub
Oh Georgia, the only place in the world where it can be 70% humidity INSIDE. Anyways, I am using a Sterilite 28 qt tub with an 8x8 UTH and using paper towels as substrate(for now). I got a water bowl that is a little big for the tub but it was all that was available at the moment. When I fill it up with water, humidity sky rockets to almost 99%. So I cut the bottom part of a water bottle out and placed it inside the bigger bowl(just in case it gets knocked over it will drain into the larger bowl) I've moved the water bowl in different places around the tub but still my humidity is staying around 67% constantly and I would like to get it down to about 55%. Is this fixed just by simply drilling some more holes into the tub? Or is there anything else I can do to lower the humidity? Thanks a ton guys

Yeah I figured more holes would do the trick. Do you think I should put the holes in the lid of the tub? or in the sides?

67% is fine. As long as there's not standing moisture on the sides of the tubs, you're ok.
And adding more holes will decrease the humidity. Side and lid doesn't matter. It's personal preference. And smaller water bowl will help too.

I'd go on the side. I use an old soldering iron, and it works great.

"More holes" x3. Side would be best. I use a wood burner to put holes in my tubs, works great and looks cool.
