    First Ratsnakes

Been into the Ball Pythons form almost a year now and at Christmas I picked up my first Western Hognose. I thought I could be happy with those, but then the shop I do all my business with picked up a group of Leucistic Texas rats and I was hooked and had to have a pair.

This is the girl and the boy looks pretty much exactly the same.

And then I stumbled on a nice looking Albino Emory and could not help myself.

The Emory is a bit nervous and tonight struck at my wife, but she has only been with us a few days. The shop owner that bread her said she was nice so maybe once she has been with us a while she will settle down.

    Thanks for looking.

    Re: First Ratsnakes

Its good to see another rat snake enthusiest, they dont get enough love. My first was a lucy and i got hooked instantly. They have the most unique personality of almost any snakes. I love their fiesty attitudes, i get tired of the same ol sissy snakes that show no emotions or fear....ball python *cough*.

I plan on breeding next year. Im looking to create some new sick morphs, i really want to create the first scaleless leucistic.

Nice additions! LTRs are on my wishlist, they look so awesome when they're adults

Now that is something I want to see! You gotta post some pics when you produce one

Thanks for the comments. My goal is to breed her next year and make some albino chocolates. After that who knows where I will go with them. I really like the trans-pecos rats as well so maybe I will get into them as well.
