    Re: genetic wizard 3.0?

    A really newb question....

Why are there no "normal" listed in the Genetic Wizard? What if someone started breeding with one morph and a normal? Is there a general formula used then?

Reading is good for you lol, from the Genetic wizard Page:

In order to breed a snake to a normal ball python, leave one side of the wizard blank and that snake will be treated as normal.

    Re: genetic wizard 3.0?

Maybe I'm missing something else here, so I apologize in advance. Is there any way (even if not on this page) to look at a morph, and find out exactly what combinations have what percentage of producing that?

It's way out of my league right now, but I'm thinking that if I ever wanted to get into breeding, it might be nice to work backwards.

    Example:

    I want Z.
Z is the result 25% of the time of X and Y.
X is the result 50% of the time of A and B.
    and so on...

I think i understand what your saying and i believe the answer is no. That would involve sooooo many diferent combos its unreal. What you mean is like how can i get a super pastel? From a: pastel x pastel, pastel x super pastel, bumblebee x pastel, bumblebee x bumblebee, etc etc... It would take foreverrrrr, just think about all the combos that could make just a super pastel...
    1.0 normal bp

The closest thing that you will come to what you want is this:

What you do is go to "Z" page on World of Ball Pythons, and see what the morphs needed to produce "Z" are, then plug them into the Genetic Calculator.

    Here is a simple one:

    The Bumble Bee: http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/bumble-bee/

So now you know that you need a spider and a pastel to produce a bumble bee so you put them into the genetics calculator:

    Genetic Wizard 3.0 calculations by

You can then look into other morphs that include the pastel and spider genetics and compare them to other options.
