    First lock ever

So we have a 1900g Female who has been off feed and a 1500g Male spider who has been refusing food so to start them eating again we thought we would breed em. We were intending on breeding earlier in the year then we thought we would wait a year for some of our other females to grow up. But as you can see we went for it. This is only a few hours after introducing them. We already have an incubator and all the stuff we are going to need so this is exciting.

I thought i saw them locking earlier (their tails were in line) but this one confirms it huge lol.

Right. Separate them when they unlock, give them a week or two (or three) apart, and then back together for three days or lock, whichever is shorter. People always reference the 3 in/3 out "rule," but that applies to the male when you're pairing him to multiple females. A lot of folks on here agree that a female doesn't need to be locked more than once a month by the same male to produce. Congratulations!

So I've had another lock since then and now my girl is eating again. I hope that is a sign of babies to come!

So I've got 3 locks now. Should I stop or keep locking until eggs?
