    Display Snakes

I recently finished off my mice and after cleaning I have a 20 gallon tank. I want to get another snake, but one that is 'display.' Preferably tame when handled and moves around. It doesn't need to be crazy expensive or elaborate. Any snake is more 'displable' than my burrowers and hiders.

I would prefer to order online because I've never don't it and want to see how it goes. Please add the website if you have a suggestion. Thank you all in advance!

I only have one display snake in a tank, which is my adult corn snake. Not the fanciest, but he's the best display snake I could ask for!

He's always out exploring, and he's an oddball that he doesn't burrow that much: he's usually out being pretty for me to see. I think corns have a lot of personality, and they come in so many nice morphs that I would recommend one for a display: just based on my own.

Any recommended places to buy corn's from? I know BigAppleHerp has quite a few, but never even bought a snake except in person so I don't know the best places.

Tree pythons usually need a larger tank do they not? How would I keep a full grown one in 20gal?

Might be hard keeping the humidity up in a tank as well. For my GTP I keep it at 50% with spikes up to 90% at night.

BHB has a ton of cornsnakes for sale I think this week they are have a sale as well. Ive never purchased from them before though.
Im not sure on the dimensions on the tank but an adult can live in a 2ft wide 2ft tall 2ftlong tank. So yeah probably a little bigger then a 20gallon. But a beautiful baby would look awesome.

And yeah I put tin foil over most of the screen top in my gtps cage for humidty.

I would look at Kingsnake Classifieds and see if any snakes catch your eye. Always search the seller on Fauna's Board of Inquiry before purchasing!

A 20 gal long wouldn't be ideal for a GTP, but it would be very good for a Corn or a Texas Rat. Brian at BHB has plenty of both.
