    Disappearing follicles?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has experienced this. It's my first season and I've been pairing my spider with a male since late October. She's been off food for a couple of weeks (usually doesn't miss a feed) so I tried palpating her on Monday and definitely felt 5-6 small but obvious lumps in the lower 3rd of her body, in one long chain

Now here's the problem - I tried again today, 5 days later, and can't feel anything! I'm just curious whether maybe I was just getting excited over nothing or maybe there was something else to it. I think she's looking fatter and had convinced myself she was building, though now I'm not so sure... Any help would be appreciated, cheers!

Thanks Mike. I thought that too maybe but she's only peed a little since. Just frustrating as I took it to be my first sign of progress!

If she is ready, you will have eggs. Just keep doing what you are doing. It can be frustrating at points. I know your pain.

Could of ovulated and not know it, as palpating eggs is harder since their softer like water balloons
