Any body else having same problem?
I started breeding at the end of november and haven't seen anything yet. Is this normal? Is anyone else having a late season?

Re: Any body else having same problem?
I started mid-October and things are going just fine...ovulations coming soon and expecting April-May eggs, with maybe a couple later clutches.

We started the beginning of November too and have had tons of locks. We just had our first ovulation a couple days ago and should be seeing more in the next few weeks.

With my first clutch I paired up in November, missed the ovy and ended up finding eggs in May.
Just hang in there, sometimes the girls just take awhile.

To answer your question yes I am getting a ton of locks anout 8 locks per each of my 4 females and I don't see anything yet. Maybe since I started late november mine will just take a little longer?

It is my first year breeding so I don't know, but will females basically decide when they become gravid?

These things take time and it's the time thing that makes us want to pull our hair out LOL
Each female is different and will go when they are ready.
I have a female (this is her first year breeding) that is due to lay in the next couple weeks and another that wont lay till the middle of June.
The one that is due to lay any time now has been paired up with a male sense the first of November till she ovulated.
My other one I didn't start pairing her up till the first of the year.
Just keep an eye on them, you will learn their cycles in time making it less stressful in the future.
