perlite question
ok ive been useing vermiculite for awhile but saw perlite on sale at walmart but the first thing i saw that made me worry is it says miracle grow on the bag as the maker but didnt see if it said it had it in it i was just wondering if anyone knows anything about it

While they do make perlite without fertilizer that you can use, this sounds like it does have fertilizer in it which means that it cannot be used. Personally I would stick with vermiculite.

This is the stuff I use. It does not contain any fertilizer or Miracle Grow.

Exotic mushrooms?
Sounds like we're supporting the drug trade

Wonder if exotic mushrooms makes you feel funnier hahah anyways if it says miracle grow it has fertilizer. I get my vermicite at any garden center and you can get a huge bag for like 12 bucks. Although perlite works, hatch rite works, i know a guy that uses cypress to incubate and it works great. So as long as your using something that holds humidity and moisture you can incubate fine.
