How do you know if you have a morph?

Some of them are super obvious, but for the one's that basically look like normals, how do you know it's a morph? Do you just look for subtle differences, or is there some sort of test you can do to be sure?

And also for the hets, how do you know if you have a het-whatever? Is this why they're called poss-het?

With some morphs it is very difficult to tell. You have to look for the markers of that particular morph.

By definition there is no visual difference between a normal and a het (there are a few exceptions) the percent het has to do with the parents. 100% het means that there is a 100% chance that the animal is het. 66% and 50% get mean that there is a 66% or 50% chance that the animal is het.

The only way to know for sure what your snake is is to either breed it or know what it's parents were.

Buy from a reputable breeder for the subtle morphs.
