Ghost Rider SUCKED
I like the movies. Generally they're a good way to be entertained, possibly amused, occasionally moved.
Ghost Rider was none of those.
The story sucked. The acting was terrible. I suppose the effects were alright, but contrived and convenient are the only other words that come to mind when I try to describe it.
The first one wasn't bad. The story wasn't full of holes and convenient happenstance, the action wasn't stupidly contrived and it was entertaining. I was at least expecting that from this one. I kept waiting for it to get better, to tie things together, but it never happened. It was just one special effect after another with little plot and a truly suckass story.
It's obvious that the budget was way bigger on this one and, as is often the case in hollywood, the quality went down as the budget went up.
Save your money and go see something else. War Horse was great.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

I was not impressed with the first one and I have no interest in seeing the second attempt. I do want to see war horse though that actually looks like a movie made by people with brains.
Lol

I thought the first one sucked and figured this one would be the same.

Re: Ghost Rider SUCKED
Thanks for the review! We were going to go see that one this afternoon. Thank goodness the guy at the AT&T store took way longer to get things done than he should have, then.

with the notable exception of the most recent batman franchise, sadly no live action movie will ever be able to live up to the films I envisioned in my head as a kid reading marvel and dc comics. thanks for the heads up.
