Reptile basics gift certificate?

Does anyone know if the gift certificate can be used in conjunction with another form of payment? I have a visabuxx card and my order on RBI ended up being 1$ over the balance of my card, so I couldn't make the order. Was gonna try using the visa to buy a gift certificate, and hopefully would let me put the remaining balance of the order on my credit card?

I doubt that the automated cart would allow that, but call them. They have excellent customer service and I am sure they can accommodate you over the phone. GL
