switch to rat today

I decided to switch my 200g BP to rats. Today started win live rat pups and he wouldn't Ave no part in my question. Is should I stick to one full mice a week which he loves and give him more mice as he grows or try again on rats he hadn't took two adult mice yet

Rat pups are a bit small IMO. Try switching him over to something thats about the same size as his widest point. If you're going to switch to rats, do prekilled or f/t. A live rat can seriously hurt your snake.

So something along the lines of weaned rats and. Just did live pups to see if I would help him ranger to rats and if I try two or three more times and still no take just stick to mice then

If you want to get him switched over to rats, try a live pup. One that still has its eyes closed, it can't hurt him. Then you can just leave it in his tank, in front of a hide, or under heat lamp/over heat pad. If he is hungry, and you leave him alone, I bet that rat dissapears. We had a picky eater baby, and we put a pup in front of her hide, covered tank, and started eating diner and watching tv. An hour or so later we heard, eeeeeeee. Took a peek, and rat pup drug in hide, coiled by snake. She hasn't looked back since. Imo, would try to get him as rats as soon as possible.

Ya I wanna swichhim over maybe ill skip a week and get him hungry and try again hopefully he will be more hungry I tried to feed him a couple days early because live rat pups die and I had to get them on Thursday so h probably wasn't hungry yet thanks
