laying problem

can anyone tell me how to get my female to lay her eggs. she already laid one i can feel more. set up a lay box and she won't lay. quite concerned as i don't want her to go septic .

please help me it's been three days now really getting concerned. she's really g etting very craby she hisses at me every time i go near her she's usually so gentle. she's very uncomfortable.

no she's not digging the substrate in the box is almost four inches deep maybe five temperature in the box is right at eighty four degrees and it's moist enough to clump when squeezed but not have any water drip from it. she does have a bum leg just took her to the vet he's the one who pointed out she was gravid plus i found an egg tuesday night buried in the enclosure. just one egg though. you can feel more eggs inside off her.

im no expert but i thought the females dont like to be disturbed when laying maybe your worris and checkin is postponing thing but dont mark my words i havent bred beardeddragons yet

She needs a good foot of subsadrate to dig into and shell like the Lay bin to be pretty warm and a bit humid. Leave her be. But she could have an issue. You could try giving her a bit of calcium glubionate. She should lay them all pretty quickly on e she starts. You could also try digging a hole for her and try putting her in the hole to she if she'll continue.

if she won't lay by tomorrow i'm taking her back to the vet.

I absolutely would yes. Normally once my girls start they are done laying within at most an hour. If she's egg bound the eggs may need help being passed. Worst case senario they are aspirated and she will pass them.
