    How soon is too soon?

Well I waited a bit to long to purchase my male and my female is ready for a beau. The male is just about 300 grams and 3 months old. I popped him a couple weeks ago and got a very small sperm plug. How soon is too soon to pair?

If you haven't quarantined then I would say that is too soon.

300 grams is small but doable. Just dont get your hopes too high. And ditto on the quarantine. Take the time to be safe. You can breed year round. The myth that you can only breed in the fall is just that. A myth. Patience must you have young jedi

Not to redirect the thread but i was thinkin hard about that the other day. Since alot of ppl report that they see their snakes locking up during a cold front or bad rainy weather i was thinkin wouldnt springtime, like april showers, be a good time to pair your balls?

I have had him since he was a couple weeks old; not a 6 month qt but at least 8 or 9 weeks. It was my goal to breed him at around 500 grams but I am getting a bit anxious especially considering the way this female is acting. I have another breeding pair in the bin above her and she is doing exactly the same thing as the breeding female. Perhaps their pheromones are affecting her.
