I have a BP I found almost two years ago(some may remember) and he recently just went through a pretty bad shedding process. Still working at getting some pieces off. Anyways, I took him out of his cage to clean it tonight and I noticed onhis back he is missing 2-3 scales but not all next to eachother. Kind of forming a straight line down his back but not touching eachother. They are about 1-2 inches apart from eachother. And there are still pieces of shed in the areas. it looks like he might have ripped them off in an attempt to get off his shed. They don't look infected, no bleeding, etc. will they grow back or will he always be missing those scales? Thanks =)

They grow back.
My pastel is a hard sheder he always manages to scrape himself on his head too hard and loses a scale or 2 every shed. But they do grow back.

Thank you! He is my first and only snake so I was not too sure if they'd grow back or he needed to see the vet or whatever =)
