    Get Outside!!

It has just started to warm up recently here in CT, and we took some time out to get outside, as you can see lil man Griff had a blast flying with his dad:

(I think these pics are huge,I need to resize em, sorry)
It was so nice to finally get outside and run around, between the winter cold and not feeling so well, I think I was starting to brumate..lol
Anyhow for everyone who can get out and enjoy nice days get out there and roll in the mud!

That's such a cute picture. You are so right about the weather! It's been great to get outside and play again. Of course it was 82 on Wednesday so we've probably had a few nicer days....

OK... we had temps in the 60's last week, and now there are a few inches of SNOW on the ground! Please convince me that we will have some semblance of a spring, sone darn day. Grrrrr.

    Re: Get Outside!!

That's a cute picture, Rusty Griffin is gettin' so big! We don't have to worry about that whole "brumation" thing here, our winter lasts maybe a week, heh. Goofy Texas. Right now in Waco, it's a nice 73 degrees, with a slight breeze, LoL. I sound like a weather forecaster. I can't enjoy it though because of gosh-darned homework. I have 4 drug cards I have to finish in equine clin. mgt., then I have to work on my sketchbook for art... Bleh. Maybe I'll take Amani outside since it's so nice, she seems to enjoy it, except when she's sitting on my shoe after I've put her down, seeming to say "Ick, Mommy, GRASS!" I took some pictures of her last time we went outside. This last time I took her out, she only kept half of her body on my shoe and the other half went exploring a bit. Such a funny girl. I'll post those pics when I get 'em.

    Re: Get Outside!!

For the last week-plus as it's really started to be spring here (I can tell because the Canada geese are all leaving in a hurry), we've had torrential downpours, temperatures from 40-ish to nearly 80, and winds that make me worry about driving. I hate the ultra-drama of the way spring comes in here -- well, I do when I'm in the middle of it. I missed it when i lived in Tacoma and the weather was pretty much the same all the time.

    Re: Get Outside!!

The other week we were enjoying beautiful weather and then these horrendous storms came through and we spent 15-20 minutes in the closet under the stairs because the tornado sirens were going off. Fortunately everything passed over and we're enjoying lovely weather again. Spring weather does leave something to be desired. Tommorrow it's supposed to be about 74 and we'll have to get out again! Maybe the zoo! I'd move in if they let me. Hope ya'lls weather is enjoyable!
