    What about eastern hognose???

Every year there are tons of babies in the field next to my house, Would it be worth trying to keep two of them to breed? and can you breed two from the same mother and is there even a market for them? lol

Be sure it's legal in your state.
I'm in NY and it's illegal to take them out of the wild. If I wanted to buy one it would have to come from out of state and have proof of such. So, if I ever do get a hoggie it will be a Western!
Different states obviously have different rules...just be sure you know what yours are before doing anything.

Yeah, my understanding is that Easterns don't like to switch to mice. Got a supply of feeder frogs?

It's worth a try with the feeder fish. Mine won't touch them. I keep a toad in the freezer and use it to rub pinkies on so it gets the smell of the toad. Mine seems to be doing ok. Try not to touch the toad and pinkie with your hands. Good luck.
