So you soaked before he shed? I was asking if I should take that approach (mine had a TERRIBLE shed last time, this time I want to prevent that) and was told that it might even be counterproductive. Interesting.

Congrats on the perfect shed! Colour me jealous!

I just had the same experience.... Trigger went into blue last week a couple days before i went away on Vacation... i jacked up the humidity by spraying down the substrate & tossed a humid hide in there as well. came home 5 days later & found a nice old one piece suit inside his warm hide

well it helped on my second shed and this shed(reeses has only shed 4 times in the ten months that i have had him) the first one sucked but that was because the dude i got him from sucks and the second one i soaked it came out great. next one i didn't soak i cranked up the humidity and it came out crummy and this one i soaked cam out great so IMO i don't think it is counter productive but that is just from my expierience. good luck with your shed
