Do any of your males do this?

I put my enchi in with one of my females a few days ago and it seemed like he locked up, and everytime I checked on them it seemed like they were still locked. When I opened the tub this morning it looked like they were still locked and then they moved a little and I could see that they weren't actually locked. Do you think he has been faking it the past few days or did I catch him as he was finishing? His hemipenes weren't inverted either.

Every tail wrap does not always end up with penetration...

    What Jon said!

To be truthful your male is courting the female he might "lock up" with her for a couple of hours and then just keep his tail there for another 24. The theory is that he's blocking other males from pairing with her buy doing this..So he might have at some point locked and is just staking his claim till he is sure that no other males are coming to call..

That's good to know. I guess I can worry a little less about disturbing them then if he's just blocking other males.
