    problems with tub setup

I'm having problem s with my tub set up any help would be appreciated. I started out wit a 30 long and had problems with my humidity and. Keeping the cool side warm at night so I had a red light running 24 hr s . So I switched to a tub setup I purchaseda 3 foot by 2 deep and 1 1/2 hi I made holes with a soder gun and placed a big heat mat on the Sam side and a small one on the cool side both on dimmer with thermometer probes on both the warm side reads 90-92 and the cool side is 80-83 I have two identical hides water bowl and rock/branch for shedding the only problem I have besides the humidity being 65 but a few more holes and ill have that perfect. M ambient air temp is right around 72-75. Its in my living room warmest part or my house right around 70. I have had him for two months he's has patent and she'd fine and went to the bahroom he's abouth 2 ft and the pet store had him on hoppers I bumped up to full six mice slowly and probably onto small rats soon I just wanna know if this is OK or the air temp is to low place respond

the air temp should be higher, 78-82 is recommended.

Make sure that you keep a close eye on the heat mats, they should really be on a thermostat if at all possible.

    This one is good

There both on thermostats the cool side and warm side mats the here temps stay the same all day and night they fluctuate between 2 degrees at the most. Any suggestions on hot to bump up the air without sacrificing all day and nigh lighting because wig the lights on all day I can obtain perfect temps throughout but then out goes humidity unless I continuously spray or moistene the ground even with the top partially covered
