Which of the basic morphs in the BP world produces the most designer morphs ??? And which would be best to get, of that morph, the male or female ????

I would go with a Pastel, you can breed a pastel to anything and it makes it better.

I also think that the spider genetics are very valuable as are Mojave/Lesser

Pastel, fire, enchi, yellowbelly. All are very basic morphs that look good when added to anything.

I'd go with a female now, then down the road get a multi-gene male like a fire/spider. With a pastel female and a fire spider male you could produce:

I would say pastel and lesser/butter are two solid morphs.
    [Python regius]
1.0 Black Butter Pinstripe (Amazeballs), 1.0 Pastel Butter Leopard (Thunderbeeper)
0.1 Spider (Charlotte), 0.1 Leopard (Spot), 0.1 Pastel (Buttercup), Fire Sugar (Abaddon), Crystal (Opalescence)

    [Python brongersmai]
    1.1 T+ Albino (Kushiel & Carmilla)

    [Boa imperator]
1.0 Hypo 100% Het Leopard/66% Het Albino (Darcy)
    0.1 66% Het Leopard/Albino (Gabby)

    [Colubrids]
0.1 Cave-dwelling Rat Snakes (Betty Spaghetti)

If your asking which have been most used, hands down pastel and spider. You should get what you like though, and decide for yourself if you ought to get a male or female.

Practically any base morph would be of use. Pastel, spider, lesser/butter, mojave, or yellowbellies are good to have in any collection.

Pastel and bumble bee can both make a lot.
