Thumbs up New Herpstats made just for incubators Great product

I wanted to give my experiance with the new herpstats that spyderrobotics has recently released to the general public.I am very pleased with mine and was lucky enough to buy the very first one directly from George .The one i bought was to be used for my natures spirit incubator and since its made specificly for incubators it made things easier. So if your looking for a perfect thermostat i suggest looking up spyderrobotics

Well once its set at your temps for your incubators needs it stays in that range. It has warning sounds if by chance your temps go above or below your set ranges. It has the same technology as the old herpstat 4 but its only $99.So in my opinion its easier to use for what i need it to do

i like the idea of that. can you set the +/- of the set temp before the warning sound goes off, or does it go off at exactally 1 degree +/-?
    thanks

Well from what the book says you set it at the highest temp you want it to go beyond your temp setting. If it reaches that temp or beyond it will sound your high temp alarm. The same goes for low temp.So basicly if you set it at 90 for the highest you want your incubator to reach and it goes past that.It will sound that alarm. I have not programed that part as of yet so i cant give my input on how it works. It also has night cycle if you choose to use it.
