    Silly boa!!!

Just a funny little story about my boa. I was feeding/weighing all my snakes the other day and it was my boas turn. I pulled her out of her cage and as with most boas she likes to hang on to me with her tail. She usually wraps her tail around a finger or my wrist. This time she missed and grabbed her own snout. I put her in the tub to weigh her and she was struggling to get her snout free from her own tail. I guess she didn't realize it was her tail that was grabbing her own face. She seemed to be gripping harder because she was mad about her face being strangled. I actually had to unwrap her tail from her face. Silly boa. Have your boas ever done silly things like this?

my bp tends to tie herself in a not every now and again, then you try to untangle her and she grasps stronger.

haha, mine never did that, but she did always grip me with her tail. i feel that this goes to show just how instinctual they really are. she was trying to pull her head out for obvious reasons, but at the same time, kept tightening her tail on her neck as to make sure she had something to hold on to at all times without realizing it was her neck lol, i love how goofy snakes are sometimes
