Heidi a 5 year old rescued Doberman Pincher. Because of her excited reaction to a stranger who tried to pet her, Royal Oak is now requiring her destruction or removal from our family. This is heartbreaking and totally unnecessary. And all because she jumped up as he was bending to pet her and broke his nose.

Things like this make me not want to bring my dogs out in public, even though they are better behaved than most kids...

i signed it.. its possible that i might not be able to control my language here, so im prepaired for another infraction,,, but how such an inocent behavior of a dog come to this? how can someone be such a feminine hygeine product??? it just seems to me that anyone that would aproach a large breed dog has the comon sence of how ANY dog might act around strangers.
i dont know YOU, and you dont know ME,,, but if this dork was to try to pull this BS on me, id tell the police that he pulled his genatiles out and and exposed himself to me,,,,,it startled me and my dog....
im not a violent person, and im not really a spitefull person, but the phrase " an eye for an eye" has been around for along time for a reason...... what a dip......
i feel so sorry for you and your friend right now, and i hope for the best for yall......

This is sad. Reminds me of the story of my neighbors pit bull. He had to put his dog down because he scratched some guy...the guy was only out for money

That's so awful. I signed! I would be devastated if this happened to me. I can understand if the dog had bitten/actually gone after the guy, but to put her down because of clumsiness...that's just horrible. Don't they need SOME sort of proof that she's dangerous?

Hell, I've busted my nose bloody on a doorframe before, and I didn't blame anyone other than myself.
