    5 weeks. Hasn't shed yet.

My female is aprox 7-8 months old, and I have had her for almost 6 weeks now and I haven't seen a shed yet. She doesn't even appear to be getting ready to do so at all. She is healthy, and she has eaten every 7 days since I've had her. Should I be worried?
My husbandry is good. She spends almost all of her time in her cool hide since I put the new one in there. Doesn't come out for days at a time.

I would be worried too, although should you worry is the operative word here, and you probably should not. I would give it another couple weeks before getting too stressed about it, different snakes grow at different rates. If she's eating well and showing healthy BP behaviour, I think you're golden. Is her skin looking any duller than usual?

No, her colors are still really solid. I'll probably wait a couple weeks more, like you said, before a possible vet trip.

A vet trip is not needed and you don't have to worry even if she doesn't shed in a couple weeks. Chances are that she will, but I've never seen any health issues related to a snake that doesn't shed for a while.

She will shed when it's time. Just make sure that the humidity is okay, and if she is in a tank, provide a humid hide. If she does have a stuck shed, soak her or use the wet pillow case method.

Beyond that... relax and enjoy your pet snake.
