Is getting a ball python to go for ft easy?

Ok well there's a female pastel that is for sale and they said they feed it stunned/live food so i was wondering if its hard to switch it to ft. The snake is 620g

Depends on the bp. Some will strike and eat while others just want you to drop it and then they will just go up to it and eat. Others just won't do it period. Its on you to figure out your snakes preference through trial and error. Good luck.

I have noticed that its easier to get a young bp to switch over. If you have an adult that has been eating live their whole life, harder to switch over. Imo. I have one that I got at age 4, been a live eater his whole life, and that is all he will touch. But each bp is different, so good luck.
