Is there any reason that a snake might have trouble shedding?

Jackson's eyes cleared on Friday, and he typically sheds within 48 hours (at the most) of his eyes clearing. I'm just wondering what's taking him so long. I'm not worried yet, but if it goes too much longer I will be...

His temps are perfect, and humidity is steady 70%. I mist occasionally to raise it to 75-80. (Only while he's shedding, not always.)

Usually shedding problems are due to humidity being too low or over all poor husbandry, but that doesn't seem to be your case. Sometimes they will have trouble shedding if they are stressed as well. Give him a bit of time, I'm sure he'll shed up for you soon.

Just be patient, sometimes it can take days for them to shed their skin after the eyes clear. No need to worry.

Ok, so I looked at him before I came out here to type this up, when I went to change his water, he had shed. He literally shed as I was typing this. I'm kicking myself 'cause if I had been in there and not out here, I actually could have seen it!
This was his most perfect shed, I've always had to assist afterwards, this is the first one that he's gotten off completely himself. Oh, I do love sheds, they're always so silky soft and bright afterwards! He'll be happy to get a nice fat rat tonight!
