breeding problem!!!HELP

Hi everybody,
i'm a new member, i'm from italy and i have a group of ball pythons, morph fire.
They are a 2008 male of 1.2 kg and two 2009 females of 1.5 kg.
I'm cooling them, the temperatures are during the day 82 F with a basking of 86/87 F and during the night the coolest zone is around 73,4 F and the hottest around 78,8 F.
They copulated two times in december, but now, when i put the male into the female cage nothing happens.Did i wrong something?

You don't have to cool them, but some people do.

If the female is rejecting the male it's possible that she ovulated, but no one could say for sure. Just keep track of her sheds and make sure you are ready for eggs just in case.

She's either ovulated, or decided she isn't going to breed, sounds like. Not all ball python females will breed every year.
Is she still eating?
I would bring the daytime temperatures up a bit. It's more likely to suppress their immune system than have a positive impact on breeding, if they can't get warm enough during the day.

I agree that temps are slightly low. Hotspot during the day should be around 90-92 from the consensus that I have heard.

Sounds like this is your females second winter and also 1500 grams or 1.5 kilograms is the minimun that females will usually go she may just not be ready yet. Typically females will go their third winter and 1500 grams or more. I had 4 last year that were on their second winter and 1500 and did not go for me. At 4 years old and 1200 grams your male should be ready to go. Were your females feeding heavily before they stopped eating, did they stop eating on their own or did you stop feeding, have your females been building?
